Born and raised in the great state of Texas, Captain Josh Lincoln was practically raised with a fishing rod in one hand and a tackle box in the other. At the ripe old age of 11, while most were delivering newspapers or mowing lawns, young Josh was getting his hands dirty as a mate on fishing boats. After sharpening his skills (and maybe doing some studying) at Texas A&M, he went full-throttle into the fishing life, turning his passion into his paycheck. In 2011, he launched his own guide service in Massachusetts, where he ran fishing and shark cage diving trips, because, let’s be honest—catching fish is great, but staring down a shark in open water? That’s next-level adrenaline. Then, in 2012, he met a fish that changed his life: the mighty Tarpon. One catch in the Keys, and he was hooked—literally and figuratively.
