Born and raised in the great state of Texas, Captain Josh Lincoln was practically raised with a fishing rod in one hand and a tackle box in the other. While most kids were learning their ABCs, he was mastering the fine art of outsmarting Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and Snook along the Texas and Louisiana coasts. Summers? Oh, he took those to a whole new level—chasing Bluefin Tuna, Sharks, and Striped Bass off Cape Cod like a man on a mission. At the ripe old age of 11, while most were delivering newspapers or mowing lawns, young Josh was getting his hands dirty as a mate on fishing boats. By 19, he wasn’t just along for the ride—he was the guy running the show, guiding anglers to their next trophy catch. After sharpening his skills (and maybe doing some studying) at Texas A&M, he went full-throttle into the fishing life, turning his passion into his paycheck. In 2011, he launched his own guide service in Massachusetts, where he ran fishing and shark cage diving trips, because, let’s be honest—catching fish is great, but staring down a shark in open water? That’s next-level adrenaline. Then, in 2012, he met a fish that changed his life: the mighty Tarpon. One catch in the Keys, and he was hooked—literally and figuratively. That obsession led him start Captain Josh Lincoln Guide Service in 2017, where he’s been living the dream ever since. Now, whether it's flipping for Snook and Redfish in the secret backwaters or sight-casting at Tarpon and Permit on the sun-drenched flats of the 10,000 Islands, Captain Josh is your guy. Expect laughs, epic stories, and—most importantly—fish so big, your buddies will think you Photoshopped the pics.
Fishing with Captain Josh is an absolute blast. Had a great time and got my biggest Jack ever. Amazing time that I will never Forget.
I had a blast. I learned a ton and had a great time. I really never fished before, but we got a bunch of fish. Heck, we caught them all day long.
